HOT NEWS FROM THE KENNEL
We've got two bits of big news, folks.
Those of you who've been loving Gordon J. Brown's latest thriller, No More Games, will be thrilled to hear that we've just signed a new THREE BOOK CONTRACT with the incredibly talented Scotsman.
And yes, one of those books is a follow up to No More Games.
Keep your eyes peeled for news of his next standalone novel with us: Me, A Contract Killer? which will be out in September 2023. In fact, sign yourselves up to his newsletter, too, because he's always doing giveaways and events, and you may just score yourself a copy early!
We honestly couldn't be happier to have Gordon attached to the kennel for another three titles. If you haven't read No More Games yet... what's wrong with you? It's a shoe in for your top ten of the year list!

NO MORE GAMES
by Gordon J. Brown
Glasgow, 1974 – a time of power cuts, strikes and the three-day week. Twelve-year-old Ginger Bannerman is playing in the local woods when he stumbles across a gunman in hiding.
The man has incriminating evidence of police corruption and forces Ginger to steal a tape recording from a major criminal’s flat. But when Ginger discovers that his dad, a police constable, is mentioned on the tape, his world is turned upside down.
With both the gunman and the criminal in hot pursuit, he must prevent the tape falling into the wrong hands if he's going to save himself and his family. Things have suddenly got very serious.
SO WHAT'S THE SECOND BIT OF NEWS?
Well, it's a cracker! We got official notification that one of the short stories in our GONE Anthology has been longlisted for the CWA Short Story Dagger. I know, right? We're thrilled.
Judith O'Reilly's Auld Bride has been recognised by the judges as a stand-out crime short story, and now sits on the list with some other exceptional talent.
This is the highest accolade yet for our little Indie Press, and we are genuinely delighted. So congratulations to Judith, and a big tip of the hat to the Editor of Gone — Steve Golds.
